Downtown Centralia has been preserved. Most of the buildings are red brick ('30s - '40s) and most of the shops are of the antique furniture, etc variety. I haven't gotten off the train there, but have seen the station...........it's centrally located..........and very nice.

I think they were hard hit during the last flood.
