[Amati Merger Question]
Bill: If WSTL's stock price continues to go down, do you think there is a share price point which will negate the Amati merger? If so, I wonder what that price would be. Certainly, if WSTL reaches say $8/share on the prospective day of the merger, I wouldn't think Amati shareholders would go along with the 0.9 share price (i.e. $7.2) for their Amati holdings. And most certainly, WSTL could not afford to pay Amati the approximate $20/Amati share talked about on the announcement day of the merger, if their own stock is ony worth $8.
Do you think the specific agreement will be specified in the papers to be filed soon? Thanks for your insights on this thread.
