As long as you didn't deploy all cash, you should be fine.
I know too many who became "long term" investor after going 100% in.
Again, I can't tell where the market is going, so I got small long position and waiting on cash (and Gold/Silver), to see a sustain rally, I don't mind missing the first 10-15%.
