Recall I-5 was closed this year in that area due to flooding. I remember that well, since I had to get Kelsey over to Seattle for her flight to Geneva.

It is like Grafton, IL. Floods frequently, yet people insist on living there. They could pull a Valmeyer, IL, and move the town to higher ground.

Places near rivers always flood, and those who choose to inhabit the area must expect that.
