What the country needs in 2012 is a great communicator in the guise of a fiscal conservative. In my book the Governors who are acting to refuse Porkulus money are adding to their credibility. A great leader needs the moral clarity that President Reagan had. He was faced with the Evil Empire. Democrats in Congress forced him to compromise the enlargement of government in exchange for protecting us and our allies. Bringing down the Soviet Union may have been worth the price. Enlarging government in exchange for assisting the Axis of Evil is a terrible bargain and Obama is making President Bush look better every day.
