My wife had a tough time dealing with that, because she felt like all of the hard work she put in was being discounted. That in turn justified the taxing of the rewards of said hard work, all to reward the lazy and incompetent. In other words, why try hard? Obviously the truth is more complex than that, and both she and SilentZ know that. They're not stupid.
