Interesting that you should mention AMZN. Did you know that another company actually sold books on the internet LONG before AMZN made their debut? We owned that one thinking it would be a star, and it faded - Advanced Marketing Services. The ONLY difference between AMZN and ADMS was that AMZN was a marketing whiz. ADMS had all the tools, they just didn't blab enough about them to anyone. ADMS has been selling books LONG before the CEO of AMZN was even out of diapers (metaphor).

This brings up Iomega versus Syquest versus Nomai. Iomega's genius has been their marketing ability. If not for Iomega's marketing ability of the Zip drive, the Zip wouldn't have been such a hit. They'll try and do the same with n-hand. We're paying for Iomega's ability to market their products successfully, which they've proven they can do.
