We were at the grocery store yesterday and had a conversation about that with the young fellow running the cash register. The subject of winning lottery tickets and taxes came up, and for some reason the other patrons in the same line got involved (it got fun at that point.) I was lucky enough to be able to tell the young man to expect his taxes to go up soon, and that there could be no complaints since it was his patriotic duty to pay them. The other shoppers in line agreed whole heartedly.......if not a little sarcastically. For some reason the young man became very red in the face and rather speechless. I knew he wanted to hit someone, or at the least walk away. It's sad.........most young people don't have a clue of what is in store for them. They've been conditioned to think they deserve what everyone else has..........home, car, good job, health care, free (choke, sputter, guffaw) education etc. They aren't ever told it will be they who pays for all of this "free" stuff that will be provided to the generation after them. They are in for such a shock! I just hope that some day they learn what freedom and liberty really is, and fight for it. It is our only salvation! It is after all the patriotic thing to do
