I was just reading through the 10Q report from earlier this year and here is my main concern.

ACTM lost some major business when 3COM aquired a big client of theirs, Chipcom Corporation, and then seemed to slow purchases from ACTM over a couple of years to the insignificant current levels.

For the first six months in 1996, Cascade accounted for 20% of the company sales and this year they account for 15% during the same period after being aquired by Ascend. I haven't seen the numbers for the 3rd quarter yet but it seems to me that dwindling orders from Ascend could put pressure on earnings and the stock price.

Anyone have any more recent info to help shed light on any of this. Hopefully it's just a blip and not a trend.

Good Luck.
