So, your point is that if the republicans were still in charge of congress and the White House, the markets would not have tanked. Still be at 13,000? We would have had that great SEC at work, and that republican fiscal integrity, and TARP would have sailed through the republican congress at Paulson's behest and solved the problems, right? Hey, with the republicans in charge of everything, maybe they wouldnt' even have needed TARP....all the systemic problems would have just magically disappeared or healed themselves. Boy, what planet do you live on?
