I'm simply making an observation that we saw this same thing when the Internet came along and many old world companies simply disappeared and new world companies now dominate. Energy is undergoing a seachange and yet again we're seeing old world companies only paying lipservice to acknowledging the turning point. If I were an oil and gas exec, I'd be hedging my bets right about now, while I'm strong and have plenty of cash in the coffers. But like I said, old world companies are almost never the one to lead the way at turning points. Most of the time, they simply just disappear.
