Read an interesting article today that pointed out that Geithner doesn't have a staff yet. All his key staff positions have been left unfilled, which is why he's struggling to flesh out the details of his plan. I know exactly what he's going through. I recently took over another department (consolidation as managers are getting let go at my company) and they gave me all the responsibilities with 25% of the staff and no manager to manage that department. So now I have to play manager for that department until I can hire another one or promote someone from within, although I have no clue where I'm going to get the budget to do that. 1 month later the VPs were asking me why we hadn't made more progress. All I could do was laugh and point to the imbalance between resources and scope and that I was optimistic that with additional staff I could meet their goals. It was then their turn to laugh at my audacity to ask for more resources in this economic climate.

Point being that you are expecting miracles of people who are simply human and have been in office for 1 month. Give Obama's econ team a chance. They need to build a staff and put their big brains to work. We've spent a decade destroying our economy. It's going to take time to put the pieces back together. It wouldn't surprise me if it takes a couple years to turn the corner on this big mess.
