$8,000/person is meaningless unless one knows precisely how these costs were determined.

Moreover, I'm not sure what the proper price for the best health care in the world should be.

So, we don't know if $8k is a truthful figure and even if it were we don't know whether that is a reasonable pricetag for what we receive.

Remember, we have ordinary people paying $6,400/month for their mortgages.

Makes sense. I'm paying $7,200 per person at my company now and then people have to pay co-pays and everything that the insurance doesn't cover...
