personally, I'm collecting pop bottles and cans from the road side so I will have the cash to take majority stock ownership in the local bank in 6 to 8 months

I'm collecting pop bottles and cans from the road side so I will have the cash to take majority stock ownership in the local bank in 6 to 8 months. At the rate the stock price is dropping, I may be over funded for the project.

Problem is, the bottom has fallen out of the scrap market. Many towns are giving up on recycling aluminum because there's no market for it.

My recommended strategy is to live in a state that does not have a can/bottle deposit (like mine). Accumulate cans and bottles, return them across the border in Oregon and collect the $0.10 deposit. I'm paying for my daughter's college education this way. <ggg>
