I know - I was responding based on something someone else on the thread said ... that if we just installed solar pv on our rooftops, we'd have more electrical power than we use now. If thats true and it really makes sense to put solar pv on every rooftop, why build solar farms? Save the transmission costs and let everyone have their own solar rooftop power.

True both centralized solar and nukes have transmission costs

I can guarantee you that transmission costs per kilowatt hour for a Nuke will be far less than for a Solar installation of comparable capacity.
