Yes it did.

But you are conveniently forgetting the other half of the equation: MASSIVE INCREASES IN FEDERAL SPENDING AND FEDERAL BORROWING *also* happened.

Thus: real increase in national debt (inflation-adjusted, measured as percentage of GNP).

The debt and borrowing OVER-WHELMED the growth's benefits to the economy by his second term (as predicted), began seriously slowing the initial growth, and resulted in a MASSIVE INCREASE in national debt.

BOTH SIDES OF THE EQUATION are required: GROWTH *plus* FISCAL PARSIMONY!

(It ain't complicated.)
