Hmm. If we judged the GOP by that, then they'd be in real trouble. They've sounded like morons for 8 years. I guess in their case, it was true. I wish we could dial the clock back and bring back Bush Senior and Gingrich. Those were Republicans I was proud of and who made me proud to say I was a Republican. The current crop is a bunch of hacks with identity crises. They elect a buffoon as Chairman and salivate over Jindal just because he's of Indian descent. They are playing copycat politics right now. They need to get their act together. As my brother said, the GOP doesn't really exist right now. What we're seeing is 1 party politics right now. We'd better hope that 1 party has ideas that work. After the last 8 years, I'm open to the Dem ideas, because the last 8 years of GOP really didn't work out so well.
