I heard obama say that America invented the automobile... unfortunately, it's not true, he needs a refresher course on history... the credit for internal combustion engines generally is given to German engineer, Karl Benz, who designed and built the world's first practical automobile in 1885... a steam-powered car was invented in 1769 by French inventor Nicolas Cugnot, although Americans, on the other hand, are given credit for the mass production of cars...

(I imagined that Jindal would be a better speaker....)

But he sounded like a Forest Gump tonight... sounded like he was talking to children (and not very sophisticated children at that...)

If that's the extent of his polemical/rhetorical abilities then the Romneys and Palins of his Party probably don't have all that much to fear from him.

(Also... odd thing... did you notice that he actually 'whistled' many of his words when speaking. Oddest thing, kinda like some kind of speech impediment, an actual whistling sound escapes when he tries to speak certain words. Perhaps a speech therapist or voice coach could explain it... but I usually would connect that speaking sound only with very old people when they slur/whistle some words....)
