I am currently short dell. I am wondering why everyone is so bullish
on this stock? What would happen if there was even a hint of a problem
or a slowdown ? I believe any problem would make the semi-conductor
mess today seem like a walk in the park. Any comments ?

Buying Feb 110 calls, these will see the best run up before earning
report but after the year end at dell.

Sometimes. Getting Dell at 90 was probably a good deal. I expect Dell to reach about 110, but not much higher than that before earnings. It will be interesting to see how Monday is. Usually when Friday is bad, Monday is worse. And last week might have given many investors the jitters, which is the primary reason why I'm waiting until Monday, at least, before investing more.
