I'm not counting on China for anything other than just being a large buyer in the marketplace. As to Canada's hostility to China in 2005, the world landscape has change a lot since then, a lot. In '05, buyers with access to capital weren't in short supply. Times have changed.

CDN government did not object to the Noranda buyout by Chinese interests. They approved it. China backed out. So did a CDN consortium I know about.
