I figured out the switch action - it is a gentle make before break so you don't get clicks. There is a subtle switching action that is absent on the Strat-clone, which is a little stiff, but certain in its five positions, but because it is stiff, you could end up missing the position you were aiming for. It's definitely very different so I'm curious what kind of action other people have on their switches. I've grown to like it now that I understand it as being a little smoother action ...
