So what it comes down to is a difference of opinion. Some people found the cartoon racist, some people did not. Just because you did not, does not mean it wasn't. To many people it was. That is a fact.

I disagree. If something is intended as racist than its racist (even if that intention is a subconscious one).

If there is no intention than it simply isn't racist. If people perceive it as being racist then they are wrong. Understandably wrong if it seems to be racist, but "perceived to be racist" doesn't amount to "racist".

Its racist if it was intended to disparage a person or group of people on account of race, or if it was intended to afirm the idea that some race is inferior, or if it was based on racial intolerance.

If none of those hold than it simply wasn't racist. At worst it would be insensitive to the likely perception that it would be perceived as racist.

How fast are we losing jobs right now?

How fast as in some specific number of jobs per day or month? Impossible to tell, there is always a delay in getting reasonably accurate information so there can be no specific number for "right now", only for past time periods.

Are we headed or already in a Depression? Yes or No.

No. At least not if we don't take more negative measures like the ones that we're taken before or during the last depression. (Trade war, very large income tax hikes, a very large increase in regulation, severe monetary mismanagement, large scale destruction of food, etc.)

As for George, may main problem with him was his overspending, culminating in the beginning of the bailout bills (TARP and such)
