As we go into the future more and more power will be generated by the end user such as thousands of Americans who are off the grid today generating their own power via PV, small scale hydro and Wind.

Distributed generation will be huge.

Mindmeld.. if you can't follow the original point of the conversation, don't bother to respond.

We were discussing the distribution/transmission cost comparisons between a nuke facility and a solar facility of EQUAL CAPACITY, likely located in Arizona or Nevada.

Solar panels on each house is a different story. I actually hope to see solar prices come down to the point where everyone can afford to install thin-film solar on their roofs and make their own hydrogen.
