I was reading "Atlas Shrugged" in the chiropractor's office yesterday while my wife got her back adjusted.

It's a huge heavy book with lots of uninspiring dialog and some giant diamonds of wisdom tucked away here and there. Like what happens when the producers go on strike? The people who make things happen, what happens if they quit?

The following dialog may be uninspiring, but it's what was said yesterday:

Doc says "How ya been?" Spies my NRA hat.

"Oh, OK I guess. You know," I say

"Is it the New Year or the Inauguration?"

"Well, they're both a pain in the neck."

"My point exactly," he says.

He's read her and loved Atlas Shrugged. That's why I'm not worried about him yet! We are reading a book together now. I'll suggest we do the same with the Federalist Papers.
