Jindal had to come after one of the greatest speakers of our time, and after all the falderah in the Congress and loving, hugging, kissing, kneeling, kissing rings, etc....He hasn't had lord-only knows-who-funding Columbia and Harvard educations, and hasn't had Soros funding for anything he wanted. We've all heard Jindal speak publicly. He does a wonderful job getting his point across, and certainly more than many who are just 35-36 years old. Last night, who knows....Maybe the RNC paid the same person that insisted GWB have some "correct way to speak"....training. I can't think of a single Republican or really any other Dem who could have given a decent speech after Obama. The real problem is that people only want to believe all the Hollywood flash and dash ....not listen to his words and what he is intending on doing. Our nation is a Democracy IN A REPUBLIC, and I know you know that, but many don't. I resent the heck out of the Dems making these plans up, and not involving the other 48.5%+ of the US Citizenry.....

I didn't think Jindal was that bad but he's not master of the teleprompter, that's for sure. And to follow Obama, who is! Anyway, Jindal has ruled out running in 2012 pretty convincingly. He's only 37. He has time. After the country gets a bellyful of Obama, they may be in the mood for less articulate but competent, which Jindal certainly is. I think Republican strategy ought to center around feeding Obama rope. He's going to hang himself. I don't think he has any underlying sense of how to work the levers of government. His staff, Reid and Pelosi are telling him different things. Reid and Pelosi don't have the sense to restrain themselves and they don't respect Obama, why should they? Obama is just the pretty face, the talent.
