I have an Epson 800 blah blah...it prints in 720 X 1440....I wondered
how they could possibly make the tiny jets tubes. Lexmark also makes
very fine jets. That is a very good question. How is that done. Were
are talking very small yet very powerful to burn. Maybe their is a different procedure, however, it alludes me.

Tim,

Is it unreasonable to request a source for the information? In my opinion, hot tips aren't worth the pixels they're painted with. If you want to speculate, or add 2 + 2 to get some other number, fine. I, for one, would appreciate having speculation called speculation, opinions called opinions, and previously unknown statements given a reference. If that's unreasonable, please ignore me as I will surely ignore you.

Ken, If the above is being a tough guy, then, probably for the first time in my life, I'm a tough guy. Intolerant of BS, maybe, but tough, not likely. But then, I've never backed down in the face of bluster neither.

All,

Enjoy your weekend,

Ian.

There are many new uses that industry is now seeing for deep duv lasers, I believe that Akins was trying to say that on the CC. I believe we will see some of the uses come to the forefront very soon. I wish I could post more or what I heard but now I will think twice about it. I thought the content of my postive and negative Cymer posts would have spoken for themselves. I guess not, well maybe not in Canada. Ian know any good Canadian gold mines I can put my clients in?

HP has a one page add on their high resolution printers. It is woman in a bathing suit. It talks about at a certain resolotion you can tell she has a bathing suit at another you can tell the bathing suit is wet and at another you can tell it is painted on.

What ever! Relax the truth will come out.

Ian and NYC lets make up and have a good week. We all need it.

You know, the HP printer plant is literally right across the street from Cymer and I can just imagine being stopped at the traffic light there watching a couple of Cymer engineers wheeling a brand new EX-5000 over to its new home at HP on their lunch break :)
