"The facts are what they are. This deficit is far and away the biggest in history. And will only get worse."

The facts are what they are. Under Bush, we ran up the deficit by more than $4 trillion dollars when times were not too bad. Now, when we have a full blown crisis on our hands, you want to pretend you are a fiscal conservative.

BS.

The Obama / Pelosi government is already responsible for most of the current year's deficit. In Obama's five years he will run up way more debt than President Bush did in his seven.

...In one month Democrats have already nearly tripled the national deficit and will likely quadruple the deficit this year.
The deficit they have racked up represents 12.3 percent of the U.S. economy-- its largest share since World War II.

Democrats have already spent twice as much as the total cost of the War in Iraq.
They are likely to spend 6 times as much as the total cost of the Iraq War before they are through with their bailouts.

Obama will also announce tax hikes and more government programs in his talk today.
And, he will blame Bush for the deficit he's tripled.
Reuters reported, via Free Republic:

President Barack Obama will forecast a 2009 deficit of $1.75 trillion on Thursday in a budget that covers big goals including reforming the health care system and stabilizing the U.S. economy, an administration official said.

The huge deficit figure, to be published in the president's budget later on Thursday, would represent 12.3 percent of the U.S. economy -- its largest share since World War II.

If Bush's $400 billion dollar deficits were horrible, and yes that was bad, why is Chairman Obama's budget deficit of around 4 times as much okay with liberal critics of Bush? Because they're partisan hypocrites?
