Al, > You are predictably soft on bush...and hard on Obama, who has been saddled with a generational problem.

You can call me a hypocrite and I can call you a hypocrite, and we'd both be right, but we'd both end up right back where we started. Is that really productive?

> Just as in the GW debate, folks like you set yourselves in judgment of a problem so complex even full fledged economists struggle to understand.

It's not too complicated to say that there is way too much debt in the economy right now. It's not too complicated to see what $1.75 trillion in deficit spending is intended to accomplish.

I was hoping Obama could use his charisma and his political capital to push forth painful but badly needed solutions. Instead, he's spending it trying to justify the bailout of banks and catering to a public demanding, "Where's mine?"

Rethink Afghanistan

President Obama has committed 17,000 more troops to Afghanistan. This decision raises serious questions about troops, costs, overall mission, and exit strategy. Historically, it has been Congress' duty to ask questions in the form of oversight hearings that challenge policymakers, examine military spending, and educate the public. After witnessing the absence of oversight regarding the Iraq war, we must insist Congress hold hearings on Afghanistan.
Watch the first part from our full-length documentary that will serve as a driving force to help make oversight hearings a reality. Sign the petition urging oversight and tell us what questions you would ask.
