Barbara, The answer is no. I don't see Dell has margin pressure. I think just the opposite. Dell is having margin expansion. The reason is that they are enjoying a better products mix. Servers, workstations and laptops which are higher margin products continue their strong growth path. This was confirmed by Dell's management as recently as two weeks ago. Also, it was confirmed by INTC's recent report which indicated microprocessor growth is strong in both high end and low end areas.
We are in the midst of a correction. It will be over soon. Hang in there!

I hear you Barbara. If it wasn't for my AT&T and Orbital Science stocks I would be in 'misery' too. Come to think of it DELL didn't do all that bad either, as I am still on the + side of the equation.

All the best in whatever you decide to do.

Barbara , Dell went up with the Nasdaq ..
now the Nasdaq is correcting if it follows the past 2 corrections in relative size then the bottom of this correction could be as low as 1300 , it is now 1650 so the drop could be 350 points from here over the next 4-6 wks . The Nasdaq peak this time was a much higher overvaluation than the previous two , they only went 50 points above vs 250 points this time ( Nasdaq went from 1200 to 1748 since March this year) , hope that helps , Brian
