OT -- He's Back! Hey Jeff, << Yo, watching Tiger needing to dig down and turn his match with scrappy Tim around. >> Clarkie's scrappy. Tiger down 3 and he holes out a great sandie. Off to the tee and he puts a wild drive hole high waaaaaay out in the cacti off the cart path and OB over a fence many yards away. Clarkie lays up with a fairway wood and errantly plops his ball in a pot bunker. Tiger walks all the way back to the tee with steam coming out of his ears and nostrils and then nails the green. Tiger bogies on two putts, Clarkie pars on two putts. Back to -3. Fun Golf and I really enjoy match play. Tiger's now conceded the match after the next hole, but He's Back! Tiger has done some great commercials for various sponsors but I really like his new 'He's Back' one on behalf of the PGA Tour, whistling on the bench and around the empty locker room after tying his golf shoes. All's quiet on SI's "GOLF! A thread for the hopelessly addicted!" where my old virtual buddy LindyBill a former 'Quillionaire' who pushed his good fortune too far into the teeth of the 2000 tech crash, hangs out.
