re foreign market ADR prices: they'll show you what the market sentiment is especially in the tech stocks, in aisa they should open closer to ny closing prices and close somewhere different, what happens to them overnight seems to be a good indication of the trend the following day. There is also ADR news that comes out in the evenings, when I catch these I'll post them.
ADRs are usually set up so that one or ten foreign shares is equal to an american depositary receipt. Find Bank of New York home page for lots of info on ADRS and a comprehensive listing. Interesting stuff.
