(Since the last week of October and most of November the yields of Treasuries were at 30 year plus LOWS! :-) Yields (when adjusted for inflation...) were ACTUALLY NEGATIVE. People were buying them for less then ZERO YIELD. Now... that's a PANIC. So, in December, they had absolutely no where to go but up a little. (They are still near historic lows though! Still far lower then they have been for many a year.)
