Petz, Re -- "Flash was flat." What does "flat" mean to you? exactly the same? If so you are more naive than I thought. In the absence of definite figures, one has to extrapolate from the Memory Group sales (given that flash is a significant portion, and when compared with the market share nos of Intel and AMD). Had it been up, you can bet Jerry and Co would have touted it to no end. The above is focussing on nits. Have it "flat" if you want, but that's no achievment, Also there was the special deal with Fujitsu for the Q, which may not extend to this Q. And if overall demand is slowing, you can bet it applies to AMD too, given that AMD has no significant price advantage. Stockman
