Michael, I have a question for you being a broker, can a company cancel shares registered in another party's name with a simple phone call? Could this only take place if they knew the certificate number, or could they even wipe out shares held in street name?

Since the stock distribution has been sent out to all legitimate shareholders, there appears to be nothing left for Morgan.

Mike, I keep hearing this 14 million dollar (certificate #2005 for 4 million shares of MVPH with an augmentation value of 14 million dollars.) issue being mentioned by the naysayers on SI and how it was cancelled or is not valid. Well this afternoon I nipped it in the bud. It goes like this. I called MVPH's corporate attorney in the matter, Mr. Milton Price at 1-602-433-3522. Mr. Price told me in a telephone conversation at 4:59 PM EST, October 24, 1997 that the certificate #2005 that RMCW has in it's possession is in fact still valid. This case is closed, at least for now..... I suggest that before listening to others that you go to the attorney in the matter. Just as you claimed to do in the Trans Securities deal, I did in this one and verified that the certificate was in fact a valid instrument! Riley G PS. For the record . The person you talked with told me the same thing, but he also said some other things that he later apologized for. I did not trust him after he said to me in the start of our conversation.
