<<octo, merck is a tough taskmaster. ;-)>>

--Skeeter, almost all stocks are "tough taskmasters" these days!

Pat Dorsey wrote about a utility, Westar Energy (WR) in this month's Money Magazine. Among other things, he said the stock is trading "below the value of the company's assets," and has a 6% dividend yield.

Six months ago, I might have bought it. But instead, I just put it on my "watch" list.

Dorsey was recommending the stock at about $20, but it is now down into the $16s!!!

In all probability, it will go even lower.

<<i dumped my SRS in the low $80s, but I might regret selling so early.>>

--It does seem a little early. What made you decide to sell now?
