“On that score, I think we need to enforce the laws we have right now,” Pelosi said at her weekly news conference. “I think it's clear the Bush administration didn’t do that.” Can this cracked old lady ever make a statement about anything without blaming Bush? She does seem to have one forte, quest for power and a talent for keeping it. You'd best believe that she'd be right on board with the weapons ban IF Holden had talked to her about it before he made his announcement.
