But Schumer is right. How can he say something like this? Well just look at the statistics-this is what the socia...er I mean the democrats are looking at. 5% of the upper income pay for something like 70% of the taxes, so the why should the rest of the 95% care? It is not THEIR money that is being wasted. All they see is the money being "rightly" funneled down to them. So even if this MASSIVE spending fails, they figure they can still count on the most of the 95% to vote them in place. It is a calculated gamble they are making. Once they have the masses hooked on all the programs, well, WHY would they vote out the hand that feeds them. It's SCARY, but this is probably the trend until the 5% well runs dry.
