Look how the States rank on educational scales and I think you'll find the LOWER ones tend to vote more Republican.

Look how the States rank on average income and I think you'll find the LOWER ones tend to vote more Republican.

I think that even the States with the highest rates of unwed pregnancies are more likely to vote Republican.

There are exceptions like Utah, but there are extenuating factors in that case.
