Of course we all remember tennis player Dr. Richards, don't we? Now, how many recall the first high publicity sex change operation, which actually was performed in Copenhagen aro 1953 or so? When US American Chris Jorgensen - wasn't he a Korean veteran? - lost his balls to Christine Jorgensen? (Back then 'Chris' was for males only). I was a kid back then but, boy, do I remember that one!
