Obama speeches have no content either.

Hey, I don't speak the language, so I can't honestly say I know what Hitler was saying. And while I've studied many American presidents speeches, I can't say I've spent any time reading the translations of Hitler's.

But it does say SOMETHING that he was able to lead so many people down the path he did. I don't think someone with weak speaking skills -- e.g., a Bush or John Kerry, could have done that.

A certain element is just the charismatic nature of the speech. Obama definitely has that. But he is damned personable.

The other day when discussing the helicopters, I thought he was really at his likable best. It is the Bill Clinton, "Sure, I'd love to have a beer with him" scenario. That doesn't mean he needs to be running the country.
