Okay.

Hmmm,

Not even my kids would qualm with Mom and Dad if our budget with them was off by that number.

What is your point?

Do you not see that they have made a decision to throw money at this world financial meltdown? Am I worried because of the law of unintended consequences? YES.

Do I know what will happen? NO. (my guess is bank holiday big time and money reset, which will have more consequences than I can think)

Can you concede that to do nothing might also have unintended consequences, such as food shortages, supply shortages issues for basic needs, massive unemployment, a total breakdown of the banking system, riots, and upheaval?

The truth is, WE ARE IN A PICKLE LIKE NO OTHER.

Our leaders and politicians have let us down. ON BOTH SIDES.
There is corruption and greed abound. As everyday Americans, we have too long let our leaders divide us. I DON'T KNOW THE RIGHT THING FOR AMERICA RIGHT NOW, BUT I AM NOT WILLING TO DEMONIZE THE GUY WE ELECTED TO GET US OUT OF THIS MESS. I worry that there will be time a plenty for that in the future.

I am hoping that REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS IN POWER LOVE THIS COUNTRY enough to forego their greed and power hunger to do what is right for America. I am not so sure we've got the right people on either side. I do trust the American people though, which is why it is important to keep talking with others, even when it appears we're miles apart on positions and beliefs.

How many people here dislike liberals as a general rule, but happen to know some liberals individually and like them personally?

How many liberals dislike conservatives as a whole, but happen to know some conservatives individually and like them personally?

We'd better hang on to that and develop that for the times ahead, imo.
