Bosco, how about a contrary opinion, a local bottom before or during Wednesday next week? I think the markets are overlooking the fact that the long bond has broken an important resistance at 6.3 and closed at rates below that. If the bond continues up (decreasing rates) I think a very good argument can be made for a rally. I figure by Wednesday since by then we should have tested my line in the sand at 7600. So now the question is where do we go in high tech. My picks are: CSCO, ASND, CS, TDDDF, GATE(????), AIMM, MLOG, BNGO, WAND, COO and few others.

Bosco,
don't think that would be required. My prediction: market found double bottom (NAZ) at 1650. Next week: sideways, Nobember - February: sharply up..

CROSSY

BTW: a number of issues, especially tech are getiing buying opportunities again. Don't dump Your APM. Has actually a rare bottom reversal indication. (homeing pigeon, a candlestick pattern).

I would consider financial stocks now, especially those which would benefit from lower rates: SFC (probably after "sympathy" player CTYS announced its earnings mess Nov. 4th)
