What Obama may be learning is that the view from the inside is 100% different from the view he put forth as a candidate from the outside. When he first began he wanted all troops out of Iraq by the end of 2007-----then he increased it to 2008----then while a candidate he wanted to bomb Pakistan and send troops to Afghanistan (as though we haven't been in Afghanistan before)---make love to Iran------then when he was elected--------he would call for an "immediate withdrawal" of troops from Iraq. So now we have him standing before the Marines implementing the Bush Administrations policy agreed to with Iraq. Yes a lot of rhetoric in that speech------- mj
