Looking more and more like Obama is just slightly to the right of Fidel. You have to love the guy.

Relatively speaking, these are 1/2 steps. It could be far, far worse given our budget deficits.

All in good time, amigo.

As an anecdote about what to expect in our lifestyle..

Went grocery shopping today at Von's. (Safeway Stores)
I go there because the stores are top notch with good quality produce plus I have one of their stupid cards which actually saves me some $. Checkout lines usually only 2-3 people. Always hearing over the speaker no waiting at checkout 5, whatever. Since two weeks ago, checkout lines are 6-7 deep, not because of increased business but checkers not there. Today only two checkout lines open with 10 terminals available. Waited maybe 8-10 minutes to get thru. Never been more than 2-3 before. Pricing? Usually buy the 12-pack Dr. Pepper, Pepsi, etc. $2.50 - $3.00 special with Von's card. All priced today on special $4.99. Services down with prices up. Get used to it. It's the wave of change for the year. Only things going down in price this year are stocks (so far) and real estate. I may have to start buying the agriculture stocks little by little, or DBA.

Edit: Forgot to add that the cashier that rang me thru usually worked in produce, but had seniority and was working checkout and there were no baggers at either of the lines.
