Thats not the reason, you say, but then go on to say we can't have windmills (or natural gas platforms) offshore FL b/o the tourists. Hmmm.

I didn't realize that meant passing up domestic energy development opportunities, especially renewable domestic energy development opportunities.

If you hurt one industry by building an energy platform, you have to subtract that loss of economic activity from the energy benefit. No?

Sure. I'm not so sure its established we have to forego all energy development offshore FL, even renewable.

You seem to want to despoil very pretty places just for the sake of your agenda, even when it doesn't make sense.

I guess despoilation is in the eye of the beholder.
