I vote to ban you because you don't know who killed JFK. <big G>

You've got a good point about banning here. Patron manages the REC thread well without it. You do a great job as is.

i agree with you.

i just remember the time years ago when SI was populated with huge numbers of people on the learning curve. today, those who are left, learned their business, and know what they are talking about, unlike then. suddenly, here we are again as though 1998 never happened, 2000 never happened, and 2006 never happened, all that has gone into making that decade what it is, let alone 1987, 1974, 1956, 1948, 1933, 1901, 1877 and so on. if the man slept through all of that, and then wants to show up to tell us all how much he doesn't know, it is one of those unique situations, where i thought, why should he be allowed to do that over and over and over again???? Should he not take some responsibility as a grown person for imbecilic ignorance? Should he not have to pay some price for doing no labor at all to understand let alone comprehend a once in 300 year event? i.e. read Fiat Money Inflation in France.

I can't do a thing about ignorant neighbors who are and have helped to bring down the ship by their clear lack of responsible behavior, except keep them out of my house. I can't get rid of timmy geitner, larry summers, or put allan greenspan in jail.

But among the educated and the responsible, I can, in this unique situation, vote to ban someone who so exceptionally doesn't get what we're talking about, doesn't add any informed view to it, and who carries in his words the same utter hubris and know it all we so despise by those who did the deeds we've been discussing. And he's proud of it. Because he, is a Texasbanker!!!

I like the free speech policy. But in this case, does that mean there is a law that guarantees free association as well? There are plenty of places for him to go. One of the coffee shops, or hang out with Mishedlo.

I will remind you I didn't ask for a ban. I very lightly suggested a vote and a discussion. Unusual given my pedigree <g>

If he stays, enjoy him. I'll turn him off with the ignore button.

PS: the suggestion, as of this time, has received 23 recs. 30 would be really nice <g>

27 now. we may cross 30 recs.

i say, as thread chair, you offer him options.

and see what transpires.

he will need to provide data resources to substantiate his comments, if he so chooses to take your challenge. what has this "banker" got to offer once and for all. otherwise, send him to the texas trash heap of bankers long since come and gone. lest we forget RTC?????? thanks.

how's that sound?
