Well it seems worthy even if I didn't succeed I like the jangly Open G - that and the Drop D produces great sounds. My daughter said "Dad, how come you don't sound like the metal bands..." I wasn't sure but I thought it had to do with some esoteric fingering I hadn't mastered - if only I had known. I can knock out sounds that make my 15 year daughter envious... I told the family last night - 30 years too late to make my metal band appearance. Oh well, opportunity lost. I didn't have the Internet then.
