Thanks. I have been on and off Lipitor for a good five years. the soreness comes on slow and builds. I did better on Vytorin, before they knocked it out. If I go to the doc, he'll just put me on another statin. My cholesterol has been just above average without a statin anyway. The hesitation is they're recommending it for everyone now, pushed by the drug companies. And I feel a lot better laying off it for a while.

Dr Davis has repeatedly said that almost no one can stay on a 40 mg dose of Crestor for long without side effects. I suggest you get some CoQ10 to take with it.
