It all falls into place once you realize that when the democrats talk about the economy, they're talking about helping people. The more people they can help, the better job they think they're doing. They brag about how much pork they can bring home, about how many people they are helping. The higher unemployment from their actions is unfortunate, but look how good of a job they're doing taking care of all of these unfortunate people who are losing their jobs. We ought to have 10-20% unemployment in no time, but cheer up, the democrats will be there to "help" you, it's what they do best. Don't believe it? Look around at how successful their welfare programs are, the record numbers of people dependent upon the govt for their existence.... Something the democrats are still trying to get better at, growing their "economy"...
