Michael- over the years they gave only 54% to democrats- which is what you would expect over time. The biggest beneficiary of their PAC was a republican- who of course was chairman of the committee that dealt with them. They give to whoever is in power who can affect them. That's just obvious. Why would they do anything else? Nothing else makes sense.

You obviously thought that article you posted was spot on about the problems caused by this graham bill- or why else would you have posted it? Sure not just because it blamed democrats. No, you wisely understood that the repeal of Glass- Steagall DID contribute to the mess we are in now. And good for you!!! We agree on that. Now look at the vote on that- please explain why this is not a problem attributable to BOTH parties- and where the fault really lies in the influence peddling that goes on in both parties in Washington.
